HISTORY

Psalms 2:8 says "Ask of me and I will make the nations an inheritance for you..."

Hope Community Church was founded with a vision to "Reach Nations through the transforming power of God's love."

With the support of their home church at the time, Bellevue Christian Center, and the Nebraska  District of the Assemblies of God, Pastor Petey and Desiree Tellez launched out to plant a church in the multi-national city of South Omaha, Nebraska.

In October of 2001, a team of volunteers joined the Tellez's, providing additional prayer, practical, and ministry support. Hope Community Church opened its doors for weekly Sunday Worship   services in April of 2002. After a couple of temporary meeting places, HCC purchased the property at 14th & Pine in 2005 and made the facility its permanent home. The church continues to develop and be a place where individuals can come to "Encounter God".
